3. Be positive. Make people smile.
4. Be as independent as you can.
5. Surrounding yourself with younger people is good for your mind.
6. Volunteer in your community and help people. Giving will make you stronger.
7. Exercise and have fun . Slim people of the world have movement built into their lives. Most walk 1/1/2 to 3 hours a day. They walk the dog, Walk to the bus or train . Park a little further from the office to get a walk in. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk to and from lunch. Walk after dinner and before bed. Most Americans that grew up in a car culture don’t think like this and have the spare tires to prove it !
8. Poverty – Most Americans 65 years or older live at or below the poverty level. Paying attention to your financial well being is important to stay on top of. Staying fit will always allow you to work a part time job to supplement your needs.
9. Dimentia and Alzheimers affect 10% of the American population . It affects women slightly more than men. Family history can be a factor more commonly in early onset Dimentia (30 -50 yrs. old ) but is generally rare to pass down just because a parent or grandmother had it. My belief is that it is more a consequence of the modern diet ! I will devote the next post to this subject.
Conclusion This post is meant to encourage you to strategize your diet game plan no matter what avenue or style you choose. Eliminating the feeling of mindless hunger while permanently losing weight is a cornerstone of The Eat All Day Diet.
