Hello ,
My name is Marty Stonely and this is my first written post for the blog
“ The Eat All Day Diet “.
It’s taken me so damned long to put it all together .
I never really had any inclination to write a book and maintain a blog,
audio and video posts to support it. But this is my lifesaver. I’ve spent the last few years
questioning, debating and interviewing doctors, psychologists, trainers,
health food store owners, dietitians, nutritionists, successful dieters
and health enthusiasts. Why ? Well I certainly knew what not to do
having experienced 35 years of failed diets. I still had questions to be answered .
I wanted to be confident of this being a sound presentation.
It was controversial, and now, far less so as the years go on. These ideas are slowly becoming mainstream.
After losing 85 lbs. and keeping it off for years ,
I’ve asked friends to read my book .
Here are their answers :
– Are you serious ? I think you’re going to need a different model for the cover !
– Marty, I’ll read anything but diet books. Sorry
– Yeah OK , send me a couple chapters.
– Send me the intro and I’ll let you know !
– A diet book ? I’ve never seen you ever say no to a drink or food in my life !
– How interesting . Let me know how it sells ?
– What , you think I need to lose weight ? I’ll call you when I do ?
– Hmmm Can I call you right back ?
– Yeah ? Ya know , losing weight isn’t really fun ?
– Well you’ve always been a fat _____ !
Ahhh my friends !
Some have disappeared from my life, especially the ones that really
needed to lose weight. Others think they’ll wait until I’m over this phase.
and are avoiding the new Marty Stonely. Hah .
They are not aware how much my life has changed for the better and that I’ll never go back to being fat.
The attitudes ,smiles ,and endless positive interaction with strangers is strikingly different. It’s a real night and day difference. I think I have always been friendly and outgoing, but the energy is now being returned “in spades “!
If I knew it could have been this good in my twenties,
I sure would have had a lot more fun and would’ve definitely lost the weight.
If only I had known.
The difference in public in being fat or slim is outrageous.
Fat people will never know until they are slim.
Everyone treats you differently. Work and job opportunities absolutely come easier.
People just seem to smile and joke more.
Your love life just might skyrocket ! Haaa !
Of course, it helps to be charming. ( sarcasm ! )
Why do people diet ?About 50% of people attempt to lose weight for health reasons .
About 30 % of people just want to look better . And about 10 % , to increase their athletic performance.
Why a lot really diet …. the honest truth ? ? ? Because their doctor has told them they might die !
Six years ago, my doctor simply said “go buy a shovel and save your money and my time” !
He said that I didn’t need to see him any more after some discouraging tests. He said ” What don’t you understand ” ?
“You are not well. What do you think is going to happen next ? Lose 50 pounds and I might consider seeing you again”.
Yeah, he scared the hell out of me , and into action.
This is the nice version of my interaction with him.
Why do people write diet books ? I think that most are dietitians , nutritionists ,
doctors or trainers who are used to making money from this line of work.
I wrote this book to stay alive and in the process realized it just might help people like me who have failed miserably at diets all their lives. It’s taken me six years ,
so it’s not exactly a fabricated hustle.
I have done years of research to make certain it is accurate. Like you, I sure know what doesn’t work.
I have recalled the positive and negative feelings
and aspects of being on the diets. Most of the time I was so freaking
hungry that I couldn’t think or see straight. I have done years of research to make certain it is accurate.
My chats with nutritionists, trainers and health professionals are ongoing to ensure this.
I was determined to write a visceral book that deals head on with hunger,
hence the name of the book, “ The Eat All Day Diet “. Why don’t diet books deal with this right off the bat ?
Hunger (even perceived ) is a feeling that will drive you stark raving mad.
So yes, I wrote this diet book to keep me on target losing weight, getting healthier with each passing day. and staying
pretty darned happy while doing it. Staying truly content and happy while losing weight has been a first for me.
Fitting into the slimmest clothes since high school has kept me delighted,
and keeping the weight off for years, happier still.
If only I had known. The thought of intellectualizing hunger was one I didn’t dare go near until I had to.
I was in bad shape, It was time to do a permanent reversal.
In designing this diet, I knew I could not feel hungry all the time or it was doomed to fail.
It took a lot of experimentation finding out what foods
truly make me feel full and satiated.
“A happy dieter usually forgets they are dieting because they feel good, balanced and satisfied “.
Was there a way to lose weight without suffering or being in a bad mood all the time ?
I went through the dozens of diets that I tried, one by one.
I made note of anything positive or negative about them.
There were many new concepts I tried to see what worked and what didn’t.
Concept by concept ,my diet came together.
All the major health problems like cancer, heart attacks ,metabolic disorders, diabetes and more ran in my family’s history. I decided the
diet would have to address all of these maladies through nutrition , diet and movement (walking and fun exercise).
I took this very seriously and made certain I included power packed nutrient laden foods in my food list.
Having a condition and not dealing with it, like simply being obese or knowing you have high blood pressure,
inflammation or high sugar can lead to a myriad of life threatening diseases. Once you have one, misery loves company,
and you’ll soon have a lot more problems than you bargained for.
So I’ve used a Chinese or Asian whole approach to health, rather than concentrating on the prevention of one
weakness or disease. Treat the body like it’s one with a synergistic approach. Your hormones and organs all work
together. They must all be balanced and healthy.Got it ? No weak kinks in the armor .
You’ll know when you’re starting to be the healthiest you’ve ever been. You’ll radiate or
you no longer recognize the person in the video or picture because they are slim . Yes, it’s you.
This will be a day you’ll never forget. A truly glorious day !
It will be the day that will forever motivate you also knowing your immune sytem is spinning like a top !
Of course, if certain conditions are prevalent in your family history, then make it your business to know all you can to address it with nutrients.

What I aim to do is make you literally half the man or woman you used to be ! (humor !)
Health and diet are about science and can be fascinating
if presented in a creative manner . Some dietitians that I talked to ,were so boring, I just couldn’t escape fast enough !
I’ll turn you on to the glycemic index, how not to be bothered with counting calories, the importance of eating alkaline foods,
and what secrets slim people actually know and use.
You’ll know when you’re really thirsty rather than hungry to avoid eating another sandwich.
You’ll learn that working around the clock and not sleeping
much will guarantee you keeping those spare tires !
Yes , I promise to keep your eyebrows raising.
I’ve rarely heard a doctor openly disagree with the FDA.
Perhaps it’s not encouraged to question the ethical practices of the industrial agri – business corporations regarding the toxicity of food in our supermarkets?
I deal with this in explicit detail.
I also question whether the current EPA is truly concerned
with our nation’s water supply, clean air, pollution, the state of our rivers , lakes and oceans, heavy metals, radiation and toxic waste.
Business and profit appear to have taken the front seat over the safety of our citizens.
These matters all greatly affect our health as a nation as well as individually.
Poisons and toxins are endocrine disruptors and can
severely affect the way your hormones work. Poisons and toxins affect your internal organs and how or if they will be able to function.
If you eat a lot of these toxic foods and many people do, then only gaining weight is possible.
Losing weight shall only remain as a memory. I can help.

Sounds like a dream , doesn’t it ? You can be a meat eater or a vegan.
Just about any diet can work within this one; Keto, Paleo, Weightwatchers, Atkins …. you name it.
You’ll just be a lot happier using ” The Eat All Day Diet ” as a frame for your diet. This is what makes ” The eat All Day Diet ” really cool !
